Melissa Harringtonmelissa@seabrookexclusives.comMelissa has been the owner/operator of Seabrook Exclusives since 1999. She holds a B.A., M.T. and MBA from the University of Virginia. Awarded Realtor of Distinction in 2005 and 2006, Melissa has taught property management licensure courses through the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. She is a member of the Junior League of Charleston and the National Association of Women MBAs. Melissa also has two standard poodles, Virginia and Denver, who are happy to greet office visitors. As a child, Melissa had the best of both worlds. She spent the school year in downtown Charleston and the summers on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. From an early age, she was able to help her mom with the family business. During the summer, she was always making friends, babysitting, working for a bike delivery company, and waiting tables. Melissa started the first baby crib delivery business on Seabrook Island, as well as the first property owner's children's program at the Sand Castle. She says, "It's fun to see the kids I took care of when they were in kindergarten, now out of college and coming back to Seabrook and Kiawah, some with children of their own." |
