The beaches of Seabrook Island have something for early birds, afternoon adventurers and sunset seekers alike. Sink into the sugar soft sands, swim in soothing waters and revel in the seemingly endless beauty that calls generations of beach-lovers back for more each year.
Seabrook Island’s North Beach
This beach is made for those who rise with the sun. Notwithstanding its name, North Beach is nestled along the Island’s eastern shore, making it the perfect place to catch the first rays of sun as they peek over the horizon and spread over one of the widest beachfronts on the Carolina coast.
Bordered by sand dunes highlighted by sea oats and wax myrtles, North Beach’s grand size makes it a favorite gathering spot for Seabrook Island’s annual Fourth of July fireworks. The North Beach also has a large off-leash area for dogs. In this designated area, dogs are allowed off-leash daily before 10am and after 5pm from May 1st until October 31st. During the winter months from November 1st through April 30th, dogs can be off leash in this area the entire day. Click here to view North Beach Village homes.
A Seabrook Island sunset is an awe-inspiring sight, and every evening, Pelican Beach is the stage for its technicolor glory. Located where the Atlantic Ocean and the Edisto River meet, Pelican Beach’s gentles waves make is the perfect beach for young swimmers and families. The Pelican Watch beach is a second beach area that allows dogs. This makes it a perfect spot for a sunset stroll and dolphin watching with your pooch. Book a stay at one of our Beach Club or Pelican Watch Villas for access and views of this great beach.
